Peter Queal started his music career in 1974 when he majored in music at Drury college in Springfield MO. During college he participated in jazz and concert bands and toured with these ensembles when he wasn't otherwise obligated to the Drury college swimming team.

After graduating Peter was active as a musician and music producer for radio and TV. He soon produced his first LP (Moments) utilizing his talents as writer, arranger, and musician along with
his trio. In 1985 a move to Grand Jct. CO saw him working with his father in a 5 piece dance band at the local Hilton hotel.

After a year in CO, an opportunity to go to the SF bay area lead to work as a solo performer. In 1989 Peter went to the caribbean islands to work in dance bands on Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruise lines. Upon his return to the bay, work with jazz, world beat, blues, pop and latin bands soon led to a knew recording of latin dance tunes from the caribbean basin (Conjunto Varietal-de Cuba pa' Trinidad).

In 1998 Peter returned to his home town of Laramie, Wyoming to continue to pursue a music career as a teacher and performer of a multitude of musical styles. His latest recording "Wild Hair" is full of diverse music from Argentina to Italy and includes originals representative of many world and popular American styles.
